Happy the month of January is over !
That means we are 31 days closer to spring !
Can't complain about the weather this winter.
We've had a few snowflakes, they look pretty coming down but don't stick.

Outside I can see things coming up in the gardens, but in the house I have buckets of bulbs in bloom.

table with you.
Yes, It's SPRING in the House !
Some of my little bunnies have escaped the Easter box and ended up on the table early this year.
I LOVE ♥ Herend ♥
And I Love Paperwhites !
Some of the Herend pieces I've had for years, they still fascinate me.
The little rosebuds they use are amazing.
And they mix and match with other sets well !
I love the daises on this set of dishes!
LOOK ... YIKES I turn my back on the window and it started to snow!
Sigh... I love my kitchen fireplace. The contractor didn't understand why I wanted it so high. We just love it. Some mornings I come down to a fire and coffee already made and waiting for me ...
Yes, being a Superbowl widow isn't all that bad.

So come on in and sit by my fire and warm up.

Easter is my most favorite time and your table is stunning. It is magazine spread worthy.
ReplyDeleteAlso your fireplace is perfect. Aren't you glad you held your own with the builder? We know what we want.
I know that lady in the picture. I read her blog constantly.
Wow - love this table. I adore your Herend - I was able to visit the Herend factory store in Budapest a number of years ago and cannot believe that I did not have a ton of china shipped home. I was too afraid that it would never arrive! Your post made me smile - spring inside and a snowy winter outside!
ReplyDeleteLyme disease. Ouch! So sorry about that! You did a great table for football widows everywhere, though! Even women like me who live for football (Super Bowl has come and gone...what am I going to do with my time now?) would enjoy the opportunity to sit down at this table before or after the game! (Not during...don't want our enthusiastic reactions to break anything!) I L-O-V-E those dishes!!! The pattern is so pretty and feminine! The napkins look great with them! Stay well!
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! I'm longing for Spring as well. Love the picture of your pretty mom.
ReplyDeleteThe thought of spring is perfect for a Super Bowl widow's party. Your green and white theme is a lovely one with the paper whites as the centerpiece. The daisy plates are pretty with the spring touches. Herend is one of my favorites. I have blue and pink pieces in the Chinese Bouquet. My pattern is Printemps and I love all the pretty shapes Herend produces. Thanks for sharing the bunnies for they are cuties. I hope your illness is doing well and you can share your beautiful tablescapes often.
ReplyDeletePsm
Herend.. oh be still my heart. So many pretty pieces!! Your table with the fireplace in the background is just fabulous.. I love how pretty it all is. I love paperwhites!! I forced 3 different bunches for Christmas, I should have forced some more for January, silly me. The food looks so amazing, as does your beautiful mom.. xo marlis
ReplyDeleteI love your bunnies...and your table and the "widows" party! It was our anniversary....so my honey wouldn't have dared to turn on the TV!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your post!
Hearts,
Betsy
Good morning,
ReplyDeleteSo happy to stop by this morning. Your table is absolutely GORGEOUS. All of your greens are so lovley together. Yes, I love Herend too and would so love to have one of the Queen Victoria teapots with the little rose on top. You did such a beautiful job with your table. Oh my. The ladies must have been wowed.
Fascniated to hear about Chronic Lyme Disease. I have had Lyme and Erlichia (sp?), another deer tick disease. We live on eastern Long Island 5 months out of the year and almost everyone has had it at least once. We are overrun with deer. I am sorry yours is chronic. I have never heard of that. Does that mean it was not caught early? Do you continue to take antibiotics? Does it make you feel arthritic? I hope you don't mind the questions. Thank you very much if you get to answer them.
I want to try your chicken dish too. Sounds great.
Be well, Ruthie from: http://www.ladybstimefortea.blogspot.com
